There are many types of motors used in the indexer. Under normal circumstances, ordinary gear reducer motors can meet the requirements of use. According to the application habits of designers and the special requirements of automation design, it is more common to apply servo motors.

The indexer uses a servo motor, which is mainly combined with the precise positioning of the servo motor and the torque, load and stability of the indexer. In principle, the indexer belongs to the reducer of the servo motor, and the 360-degree drive angle stops at any point. The main concern of the servo motor drive indexer is the reset of the servo motor.
The reset method of the servo motor is briefly summarized for your reference. The main purpose of using the servo motor is to ensure that the accuracy reaches a higher level. Therefore, the accuracy and actual requirements should be used when selecting the operation method. Some servo motors can automatically realize the reset of the origin. For example, the servo can be completed by the host computer. The principles of the origin reset are basically the following:
1. The servo motor in the rotating state will decelerate and stop immediately when the sensor is passing the origin, that is, when it touches the origin switch. This method of returning to the origin selects the mechanical proximity switch or the light sensor switch. The accuracy is not very accurate, because it is greatly affected by factors such as temperature and power fluctuations, and the response time of the signal will be different every time. The motor runs at high speed until the process of sudden deceleration and stopping through the origin, even if the mechanical cause is excluded, each time The difference in returning to the origin is above the wire level.
Second, another method is to directly look for the Z-phase signal of the encoder when the motor returns to the original point. When there is a Z-phase signal, the motor will decelerate and stop immediately. This method of resetting is generally applied to a rotating shaft, and the speed of resetting is not high and the accuracy is not high.
Third, there is a method that is most accurate. Most of them are applied to CNC machine tools. The servo motor uses the first high speed to find the origin switch. When the origin switch signal is passed, the motor immediately searches for the Z phase of the motor at the second speed. Signal, the first Z-phase signal must be on the origin block (the high-end CNC machine tools and the center machine's origin block are mechanical and not inductive, and their length must be greater than the motor to a straight line The length of the distance). After finding the first Z-phase signal, one way is to return to the origin before the block, and the other way is to return to the origin after the block (it is safer to return to the origin before the block, and is used in European machinery, the block After the return to the origin, the work schedule will be longer, and the Japanese system will use more. Taking the post-reset recovery as an example, after finding the first Z-phase signal on the block, the servo motor will continue to rotate in the same direction to find the first Z-phase signal after the block is removed. Generally this is what we call the real The origin, but because this point sometimes happens to be in the middle state of the original block motion, it is prone to malfunction, and an offset can be set under the premise of ensuring accuracy.
